Hi, I'm Doug Lester, and this is The Career Narratives Podcast. For over 10 years, I've been helping MBAs and ambitious professionals like you who want to advance their careers but realize that they need to do a little work on their personal narratives first. If that sounds like you, I want you to know I've walked in your shoes. After getting an MBA from Wharton, I moved up the corporate ladder for 10 years as a marketer and hiring manager in Fortune 500 companies. Then I got the added perspective of working at a top executive search firm for almost four years. So I've been the candidate. And the gatekeeper.
And for more than 10 years now, I've been working one-on-one with people like you through my business Career Narratives. I've also been on the coaching staff at Harvard Business School, and I've been a coach and advisor to senior leaders in some of the world's largest and most successful companies.
